Eden Energy Medicine
Everything is energy. Just as the universe is composed of atoms and molecules that are in balance with each other, we are no different. Our energy field supports and is intimately connected to the workings of our physical body, emotions, mental processes and to the joy and spirit of life. When our energy body is blocked in some way, is out of balance or not connected to vibrant dynamic flow, any of these areas — physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual — can become affected.
Every part of the energy body (meridians, chakras, aura, radiant circuits, etc.) is in relationship with every other part, so if one part has lost its rhythm, so to speak, every other part of the body is affected to some degree. Much of energy medicine explores these amazing relationships and when the affected energy is rebalanced, strengthened, calmed, restored, the body at all levels has the innate intelligence to heal itself … to become whole again.
The beauty of energy medicine is that it allows the energy of the body to tell us what it needs. Through applications of applied kinesiology techniques, sometimes called muscle or energy testing, the body reports what is in sync with it and what is not. It tells us when order has been restored and relationships are again dynamic and balanced. The client can maintain this new state indefinitely by regularly performing specific exercises and techniques that the practitioner instructs. Eventually the energy body accepts these adjustments as the norm, becoming ever stronger and more resilient to both external and internal stresses.
Although some would say this is a rather "scientific" approach to energy work, the Mystery is ever present. The Source of all healing is the divine wellspring which sustains all life. I acknowledge any healing with Infinite Love and Gratitude to this Source.
I am blessed to have been led to Donna Eden (www.innersource.net) and Vicki Matthews, my teachers, for my life has gotten better and more explosively fulfilling since the day I took my first class in Eden Energy Medicine.
Reiki
Reiki is the union of two Japanese words meaning universal life energy.
The practice of Reiki is based on the teachings of Mikao Usui, a 20th century Japanese healer. Reiki is a technique that directs healing energy through the hands of the healer to balance the body's energies and its own regenerative capabilities.
It is suitable for clients in any state of health. As such, it can be used to reinforce the benefits of energy medicine or can stand alone, bringing relaxation and a sense of well being.
I am a Reiki Master and primarily use these techniques in conjunction with energy medicine.
May each day bring
a flowering of your deepest gifts.
Kabbalistic and Jewish Shamanic Healing
Many cultures and religions developed mystical interpretations of the body’s energies and relationships to nature and to Source, and display surprising similarities. Kabbalah, the Jewish mystical tradition, uses the symbolism of divine attributes called spherot (somewhat similar to chakras) connected on a Tree of Life, to describe these relationships. Jewish shamanism, as taught to me by Shaman Rabbi Gershon Winkler, uses kabbalistic teachings and other ancient sources to connect to Judaism’s early start as an agricultural, aboriginal way of life. It bears many similarities to nature-based practices of native Americans and Oriental religions.
One beautiful form of Kabbalistic Healing was transmitted to me by Dr. Jodi Shams Prinzivalli, a most gifted healer and teacher. The basis of this practice is the realignment of the Tree of Life, as described more than 500 years ago by the “Ari”, Rabbi Isaac Luria. It is a symbolic way of looking at the body’s energies through 4 simultaneously existing holographic worlds: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. The 10 spherot that make up the Tree of Life exist in relationship to one another and to the four worlds.
In order to realign and balance the Tree, the healer sets up a relationship in her own Tree that reconnects and balances whatever has been ascertained to be out of balance in the client. The client’s Tree becomes balanced as a result of its attunement with these energies in the healer.
The healer does not control or direct the outcome of the process and actually experiences a healing in her own Tree as a result. She creates the space, the vessel, in which the client’s Tree can return to a state of wholeness and balance. She asks for the client’s greatest good to be realized through the process.
I believe that each of us has been incarnated with a divinely inspired mission. Kabbalistic/Jewish shamanic healing restores wholeness and balance in the Tree, allowing the client to further realize this potential. It is powerful and deep work but the client must understand that results can sometimes seem as mysterious as the treatment. Shamanic rituals, practices, and ceremonies would be discussed with the client before employing them in a healing.
Kabbalistic and Jewish shamanic healing are quite esoteric practices. If that is the course we choose to take, I will discuss with you how I plan to address whatever issues you have presented, using a variety of healing techniques and possibly rituals and ceremonies created especially for the situation. The results of these sessions may not be as immediately obvious as with an energy medicine session, but can be very deep and long lasting. Being comfortable with the mystery is part of the healing process.
